my baby weighs 8.23 kg. he is 5 months old. is he having appropriatecweight? his birth weight is 3.3 kg. when some1 lifts him, they say he is vry lite weight. am worried y is he so lite weight. how can i improve his weight?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. no the weight is in normal range In order to clear all your doubts regarding this and to get a proper information and guidance you should consult your pediatrician who will guide you in a proper way and will also suggest proper investigation required after clinical examination and taking detailed history.

Baby where should be triple in a year according to birth weight and after one year baby gain weight slowly. And according to that baby weight is totally fine and you should not worry about it at all. Once you baby turned six months old and you can also start giving solids and water to your baby
