A. it is advisable to continue your efforts in feeding the child. many times it take more efforts from the parents to make the child eat nutritious food. so kindly go for different recipes and flavours which might improve the appetite of the child. at the same time it is also important to meet your doctor to rule out nutritional dxeficiency which might be the cause of loss of appetite. give juice fruits and water which will improve appetite and regular physical activity.

A. It can be concerning when your baby refuses to eat. If your baby is not sick and has no fever or cold, there could be several reasons for the refusal to eat: 1. **Teething:** If your baby is teething, her gums might be sore, making it uncomfortable for her to eat. 2. **Taste or Texture Preference:** She might be going through a phase where she dislikes the taste or texture of certain foods. 3. **Fullness:** If she’s been drinking more milk or eating more snacks, she might not be hungry during mealtimes. 4. **Independence:** Babies sometimes assert their independence by refusing food, especially if they’re not in the mood to eat. 5. **Distractions:** If there's a lot going on around her, she might be too distracted to focus on eating. 6. **Growth Spurts or Changes in Appetite:** Babies sometimes go through phases where their appetite decreases, which is normal. ### What You Can Do: - **Offer Variety:** Try different types of food or offer food in a different form (pureed, mashed, finger foods). - **Be Patient:** Don’t force-feed her. Offer food without pressure, and if she refuses, try again later. - **Ensure Regular Meals:** Maintain a regular feeding schedule and limit snacks to ensure she’s hungry at mealtime. - **Teething Relief:** If teething seems to be the issue, offering a cold teething ring before meals might help soothe her gums. - **Create a Calm Environment:** Make mealtimes quiet and free of distractions to help her focus on eating. If this continues for several days or if you notice any other changes in her behavior or health, it might be a good idea to consult with your pediatrician to rule out any underlying issues.
