A. I can understand how challenging it might be dealing with your 2.5-year-old who cries for small things. It is not uncommon for young children to express their emotions this way, and it could simply be that your child is seeking attention or having difficulty communicating her needs. It is essential to be patient with her and try to understand her perspective. You could also try to distract her with her favorite toy or engage her in some fun activity. As for her crying behavior when relatives or guests come by, it could be that your child is shy or overwhelmed. You could try to give her some space to adjust to the new situation gradually while reassuring her that everything is okay. In time, she may become more comfortable with unfamiliar faces. Remember, consistency, patience, and empathy go a long way in parenting.
