Q.
my baby was born on Apr 24 so he is only six days 5 days old.for the initial 4 days he was in NICU so her mother coudnt feed him as she was also in bed due to the Csectiion.now he came out from the NICU and not drinking milk from the mother brests we have to manually pump the milk using electric pump. then feed him with spoon or bottle.is there any way to make him drink directly from the mother

It’s a premature child sometimes kids can take a little longer time to accept breastfeeding directly with the breast because the sucking capacity is not very good because the child has to have a proper sucking and latching technique to feed so whenever you try to feed on the breast Press the breast with your hand for better flow also you can use a nipple shield as that helps in giving a better grip to the child while latching
