My baby was born on 31st may'21 his birth weight was 3.7 bt after 3 nd hlf month his weight is only 6 kg.Is his weight is nrml or less?

POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl4 years agoA. Ideally, infants should gain approximately 140-200 gms of weight per week initially and by 5th month, it should double the birth weight. As per this, your baby's growth is fine and there is no need to be worried. Keep feeding fully and frequently and if needed, include atleast 1 time night feed too.
