Q.

my baby was born at 38 weeks 3 days via scheduled c section. her jaundice was detected on 3rd day but the levels were below cutoff. total bilirubin was 11, on 4th day 12.4 and on 5th day 14.91. however she was discharged on 5th day. is not the cutoff for phototherapy 15? if so were they right to discharge her? she is 7 weeks old now and is active. smiles and kicks as well but she keeps arching her back and i am worried if there was some nerve damage due to high bilirubin. i have also attached the bilirubin reoorts of three days.

A. if baby seems fine then there's nothing to worry about. actually bilirubin levels remain in blood for three weeks. if baby has no sign and symptoms then everything is going fine m give only breastmilk till completion of Six month and give sunbath every morning for half an hour daily
