Q.

My baby was 45 days old and I used to give breast milk and buffalo milk. Instead of giving buffalo milk can I give formula milk.Could you please suggest me which is good for babies whether formula milk or buffalo milk...

A. Buffalo milk should be avoided as it is too heavy for a baby's stomach. You can give it only when the baby is more than one year old. Exclusive breast feeding is advisable till the baby completes 6 months of age. In case the breast milk production is low, you can contact your doctor and discuss as to which formula milk to use for your baby as he is the one who knows the best about the growth needs of your child.
