A. Constipation seen in smaller babies specially below 8-10 months is very common and conserning . Avoidance of formula milk is required and cow's milk too should not be given before 1 year of age. In the diet avoid giving banana ragi and packed food Iron suppfrlimentation can also cause constipation . Enzyme preparation and stool softener are required if symptom are more and causing discomfort .
