Q.

My baby wakes up every 2 hours during night and calm down with breastfeed only and on not offering breastfeed he started screaming loudly. Infact during day time,he avoids feed and doesn’t cry.How to handle this and increase his sleep window during night? Joining back office seems typically difficult with this symptoms. Please help..

A. this is very common in babies till 6 months that babies need frequent feeding during night so yes you need to be with the baby or someone else should feed the baby on time whenever baby demand and also you need to burp your baby well each time you feed the baby, to avoid gas in stomach due to which baby does not feed properly at once

A. Are you sure your child is hungry only because sometimes when kids wake up and cry in the night it’s basically due to stomach pain and when you feed them they become quiet for a while but they again cry either this is the reason or it could be genuine hunger if you have to resume your work you can shift to formula feeding for the nighttime
