Q.
my baby ultrasound shows she has persistent vitello intestinal duct with umbilicus.what would I do. she is 1 month old now .please give me a suggestion.Is surgery is safe for ky baby

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. if the child is suffering from this congenital anomaly it need surgical intervention so you have to consult a paediatric surgeon and according to that only the surgery needs to be done

Usually it will correct within one week apply calamine lotion twice daily keep babys surrounding clean and dust free
Consult with your doctor in person for proepr physical examination and treatment
Apply coconut oil or olive oil twice daily
Give adequate feeding
Burp well after evey feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes
Do tummy time and cycyling movement of legs regularly
