Q.
My baby suddenly started ignoring bottle. My milk is not suuficient for him and he is crying with hunger as he is ignoring bottle. Can you please suggest me the reasons for the ignorance of the bottle suddenly

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. when the child is not taking bottle feeding their might be some oral pathology (ulcer or oral thrush) which is causing pain to the child otherwise the child might be having some gastric trouble which might be in the form of either gas or some indigestion. also the child is having nasal blockage and cough and cold and fever the child will not take milk from the bottle. look for these causes and if you are still not able to find them then meet your doctor meet dr if not improving

Are you sure that your child is crying because of hunger and rejecting bottle because a lot of times mothers cannot discriminate between hunger and colic pain sometimes when they’re having pain they refuse to take breastfeeding or body feeling as well so you should consult a lactation doctor once
