my baby still not able to speak..she is 17 months old now...is it normal...?

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr 2 m old boy3 years agoA. Hai good afternoon !! Generally babies babble, speak small words (two letters words like mama,dada, papa) by 9-12 months.
By one and half year speaks , repeats what we speak.
What about other milestones eye contact, colour recognizing, responding to commands, waving hands, recognizing family members, observing expressions,mingling with kids...
If you observe any delay in speech and cognitive skills (emotional behavior) then consult Developmental paediatrician.
