Q.
My baby she rejects drinking milk through breast when she is awake, she drinks milk only when she is sleeping, this makes a gap of 4-5 hours, but whenever we give our finger she starts sucking, but not breast is their any problem.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. Just for position and attachment while breastfeeding if the urine output of the child is good no need to worry much. at the same time it is advisable that you should give breastfeeding in a quiet environment

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk. if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping . there is no need to to go for hourly basis as a less quantity basis......
