Q.
My baby she had cough and cold also she is facing a colic pain. Visited doctor he advised hicope oral and gastica oral drops but nothing works every time we go he just change medicine before that he advise neosprin. I don’t know what to do please advise.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. yes happens. Gas issue is common can cause discomfort to baby . For best give only mother milk to baby , avoid use of bottle feeding or formula milk . burp baby after every feed for 20 minutes by keeping baby upright on shoulder.for relief can do cycling motion of the legs and also massage tummy gently in morning . Can be given gastica drops 1ml to baby for gas. Colicy pain is worse at night time and and makes the baby cry whole night and disturb sleep . give drops meftal spas or colicaid 0.5 ml at evening or night time . If persistent cry immediately see a doctor.

So you can start nebulising the child along with the medication suggested by the doctor because that is going to help in reduction of congestion from chest throat and nose what ever is blocked so that’s going to be more appropriate with the medicationsWrite Your Answer Here
