Q.

My baby’s weight is somewhere around 3 Kgs. I missed to get my child 1st dose of hepatitis B vaccine that was to be given within 24 hours of birth. What should I do now? Can I get him vaccinated now?

A. hepatitis B will be covered when the child reaches 6 weeks of age in between no need to vaccinate at the end of 6 weeks of age and at 10 weeks of age and at 14 weeks of age the same vaccines come dpt(diphtheria pertussis tetanus) polio hepatitis b h influenza b rota virus vaccine pneumococcal vaccine so in total you have to give eight vaccines to the child and there are combination vaccines available so that only two injections and one oral medicines will cover the above vaccines.
