Q.

My baby's forehead is hot though the temperature is 98.7 , Kindly guide me on this

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proqper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

A. Its Normal temperature 99+ is only be considered as fever and that is the right time you should be giving medicine to the child but as of now it is 98.7° fahrenheit which means it is not fever it is normal to have a little warm head but you cannot give medicine now it’s normal
