My baby’s birth weight was 2.96 kg. She is 4 months 6 days old and weighs 8.23 kg. Is the weight appropriate?

Divya DiwakerMom of a 11 yr old boy3 years agoA. Hello mam A new born doubles it’s birth weight by 6 months and triples it by 1 year so according to it it’s all ok little extra but that’s ok. Make sure the child is active , passing urine 6-7 times a day and achieved all milestones till the present age

Its Actually overweight a child should be somewhere around 10 KG by the age of 12 months your child already has 8 1/2 KG raise of mass of course your child is having of healthy weight is overweight but its okay don’t worry about it because once your child will learn to sit and watch the rate is going to reduce
