Q.

My baby's birth weight was 2.6. Later on discharge.he was 2.4. After 45 days still he is 2.8 only. Is this weight gain normal?

A. yes its ok. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide yousee only the doctor who can see you in person can judge what is the right status. best to trust her

A. Hello mom Yes it is totally normal because babies lose some weight after birth in next few days. Baby weight should be triple in a year according to birth date and after one year Baby gain weight slowly. So we should calculate according to that. Baby should be totally on mother’s milk and there is no need to give anything else till six months
