ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. Dear mum, a weight gain of 1 kg in 2 and half months is slightly on the lower side. Baby should gain at least 500 grams per month. For healthy weight gain, exclusively breastfeed your baby till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
