A. Dear mum, a weight gain of 1 kg in 2 and half months is slightly on the lower side. Baby should gain at least 500 grams per month. For healthy weight gain, exclusively breastfeed your baby till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.

A. It’s A little less your child should have been at least minimum of 1 1/2 KG is as of now your child is only one KG so I would say 500 g is less that way so just you know try to give much more healthy feed to the child I am sure your child is on breastfeeding only so continue with the same if the weight still does not increase then consult your doctor ones
