Q.

My baby's birth weight is 3.87Kg.After 44 days his weight is 5.8Kg he is exclusively breastfeeding. Is this weight gain normal or overweight?

A. Namaste Mom The baby was born with good weight, and normally monthly weight gain is expected in the range of 400 gm to 1 kg and by the age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight.
