ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician3 years agoA. Green colour stool is normal only,
If baby is passing urine minimum 6-8 times per day.
Don't give so much importance to motion unless blood in motion or bad smelling motion.
Consistently green stools in the breastfed baby can indicate an imbalance of foremilk/hindmilk,
often resulting in frothy green stools. ... Teething can also bring about green stools due to increased saliva.
A lot of green vegetables or something with green food coloring in mom's diet also cause green colour motion in baby.

Shaista TarannumMom of a 16 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. if you are breastfeeding your baby then there is a possibility that your baby is getting more of foremilk .....that is the initial milk and not much of hind milk.....that is the later milk which is more fat.
so for the next few times feed your baby for longer than you usually do and see if it makes any difference. feed atleast for 10-15 min on each breast.
Or it could also be from the iron content in the formula milk that you are giving.
Please keep and check. See if changes in the above reasons shows any difference.
If not please consult your Pediatrician once as it would be better.
