Q.

My baby just turned 8 months old and still doesnot sit without support. She is 76 cm and 12 kg in weight. She tries to crawl but instead of going forward, she goes backward. Is not siting and not crawling forward a concern?

A. Crawling back wards is completely normal for a child to begin with but yes if your child is not setting independently as of now then it is better to crosscheck whether the doctor for this because mostly by the age of 8 to 8 1/2 Months it is Rudra right time for a child to sit independently
