My baby just got recovered from a viral fever, still coughing though but I am concerned about the weight. What to be given to regain the weight fast? He is 8 months old

Keep giving all homemade easily digestible foods.
Appetite may take time to resume to normal post episode of sickness.
Keep baby hydrated properly as well
