Q.
my Baby isnt gaining weight since 6 month.. He was 2.8 at birth now he is 6.8 at 8 month... is it good.. otherwise he is very active in all things

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. it could be considered to be normal as per the age you have mentioned if not associated with a.ny other problems repetitively,you should not worry it does not require any kind of treatment or medicine if you have any more doubt you ncan get examination done once by the doctor available nearby and get further guidance regarding this.

Hi At six months weight should be double to birth weight Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc Burp well after evey feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes Give two liquid diet followed by BM or formula milk
