Kiran ThakurGuardian of a 1 yr 3 m old boy1 month agoA. A 17-month baby may cry a lot due to teething, hunger, tiredness, or wanting attention. Try to comfort the baby with cuddles, distraction, or a favorite toy. If crying is excessive or unusual, consult a pediatrician to rule out any discomfort.

Crying of a Baby is mostly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort which can be relieved by medicine like colicaid /gftastica drops. other reasons could be nasal blockage, ear pain, diaper rash and more which needs to be ruled out and managed accordingly .
