Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Some babies tend to develop nut allergy when introduced to tree nuts like almonds, cashew, pistachios, walnut etc., So it's better to give nuts after the baby is one year old specially if there is a history of nut allergy in ur family. You can give banana, potatoes, sweet potatoes and continue feeding breastmilk or formula. You can add homemade ghee in babys regular meals. You can also give warm rice mixed with curd. After one year of age, You can add full cream cows milk, eggs, meat if non vegetarian, potatoes and all diary products like butter, curd, ghee, cheese, paneer etc. Add dry fruits and nuts like almonds, pistachios, cashew, walnut, fig, dates in the child's regular diet. They will help to increase weight.
