Q.

My baby is two months old. She weighed 2.7 kg at birth. She now weighs 3.7 kg. I have low breast milk secretion. It was not enough for her. Can I have something else?

A. weight gain is okay.. minimum 500 gram of Weight should be gain per month.. feed as often as they seem hungry or want comforted, offer more breastfeeds, feed from both breasts at each breastfeed. If you're concerned, meet with a lactation consultant or your pediatrician.

A. Hi mom. Yes the weight gain is fine. Babeis they gain around 200 gms per week in the first month.. If ur baby is active and comfortable otherwise, passing out urine 6-8 times in a day, gaining weight then that means ur feed is sufficient for the baby. If feed is less then u can have lactare tablets to increase your breast milk supply
