Q.
My baby is suffering with cold , running nose and mild cough. Giving her medicines and nostril spray once in 6 hrs. What else can be done to free her nose and to comfort her? pl suggest

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. give nasal saline drops every few hourly to the child in the nasal cavity.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child
you can go for indirect steam inhalation which will again help in decreasing both cough and cold
continue the regular diet of the child
if there is no improvxement in few days then meet your doctor
for fever and pain give paracetamol.
anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Just team indirectly you can give to the child twice or thrice in a day apart from that nasal drops are only going to be benefiting further if the child doesn’t get relief kindly consult your doctor once
