my baby is suffering from fever,takes time to consult family doctor will u please tell me immediate medication for my child

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. it s ok so baby has warm head , soles and stomach on touch as it s a normal thing. It s due to hyperdynamic circulation and is normal. fever is said if baby s temperature is above or 99.5 farenheit. Then needs medicines to treat. Can give calpol or sumol for fever for relief.

Vritika AroraMom of a 5 yr 2 m old child4 years agoA. Hi If the fever is above 100 F then u can give paracetamol to ur baby. Repeat the dose after six hours if fever comes again. Viral fever can take 3-5 days to subside. So no need to worry. Take care
