Q.

My baby is suffering from fever past 2 days temp is around 101(cycling around 10 hrs) consulted pediatrician here She has advised for maxtra syp and calpol syp ..i am giving same but have a doubt do we require any antibiotic

A. hi fever is reaction of body so if it remains constant and if it remains for more than 3 days ,it needs such doctor's prescribed Medicines. please keep your child well hydrated gently rub onion slices on chest and back of your child which gives instant relief in fever. dress your child lightly. keep your child in well vantileted room maintain good hygiene.
