Q.
my baby is sick from last night due to some kind of throat pain. I had given her ibugesic syrup. plz suggest some antibiotic for throat pain also.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children1 Year agoA. most of the time throat pain due to viral infection there is no need to use antibiotics. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl1 Year agoA. You should not give antibiotics without consulting the doctor as we do not suggest you to give antibiotics it can affect negatively on the liver also if you give it for a longer duration or if it does not suit the child so best to check with your doctor
