Q.

my baby is preterm baby with low birth weight 1.77 kg now she is 1 month old and 2.5 kg but not taking detect Brest milk. I express my milk and give her then she is taking but not Brest . she is latching but I think she is not able to get sufficient amount.i am trying to direct feed but she is not taking what can I do??

A. do not worry at all because the concept of feeding is very new for the baby so keep on trying be patient try to feed the baby when she is sleeping or as you are already pumping the milk and feeding through bottle that is also very good . you can try out different feeding position make sure that you have sufficient milk supply . make sure to put the areola fully into the mouth when you are feeding the baby take care and all the best for the baby
