Q.

My baby is One month old. she has scratched herself in the eye and a small part of her eye ball turned red. Does it heal by it self or do I need to consult a doctor. The eye has swollen a little and there is no watery discharge from her eye. also kindly suggest what precautions should I take in order to avoid these sought of instances in future.

A. consult with your paediatrician for proper examination of the child and start treatment as advised by your doctor. give only breastmilk till completion of six months. maintain hygiene at home

A. If Your child is having swelling in the ice you should get it checked always keep the nails cut of your child use a scissor a trimming scissor to cut the nails you should never use a nail cutter and if required make your child wear mittens so that your child doesn’t hurt anywhere else or scratch it self
