A. hii The average gain of a newborn baby in a month is 175 to 200 grams per week. You can count it to be 700-800 (approx.) grams per month. The baby is certified to double its weight in five or six months if enough nutrition has been received. It is always recommended by experts to give breast milk to your newborn up to at least one year of age. Cow’s milk is not advisable till your baby turns at least 10 to 12 months old. The main reson for this is – your infant’s digestive system finds it difficult to break down cow’s milk.
