#asktheexperts my daughter is 9 month old and completely on formula milk. can I switch her to buffalo milk or cow milk now

A. the thing is that at this age you can go for any type of milk for the child and it can be either formula milk or packet milk or powder milk or animal milk that is either buffalo milk or or cow's milk for your child. initially you will have to offer outside milk in small quantity and if the child is tolerating that amount then gradually you can increase the quantity of milk but if the child is not tolerating then kindly change the type of milk you are giving

A. Cow milk can only be introduced when the baby turns one year old. Cow milk has less iron content when compared to breast milk or formula milk. And iron is very much essential for baby's growth in his or her first year.
