Q.

My baby is now 6 months 28 days old and have started solids. I feed her 3 to 4 meals per day as per her paediatrician advise and also started iron supplement. She’s constipated, I give her 60 to 90ml water a day and carom seeds water too but she still struggles to poop and her poop is very hard in mornings. Any suggestions?

A. When you start giving outside food to the child constipation is normally seen apart from water I would also recommend you that you should give buttermilk twice or thrice in a day and try and include papaya in the diet at least once in a day
