A. Every baby develops at their own pace, so not standing without support at 11 months old is within the range of normal development. Here are a few things you can do to encourage your baby to stand:
1. **Encourage Play**: Provide toys or objects that encourage standing, such as sturdy furniture to pull up on or push toys that your baby can hold onto while standing.
2. **Assisted Standing**: Hold your baby's hands while they stand to help them gain confidence and balance.
3. **Floor Time**: Give your baby plenty of opportunities for floor play, as crawling and exploring movement on the ground can help build strength and coordination needed for standing.
4. **Provide Support**: Use cushions or pillows to create a soft surface for your baby to practice standing and falling onto.
If you have concerns about your baby's development, it's always a good idea to discuss them with your pediatrician. They can provide reassurance and guidance based on your baby's individual growth and milestones.
