Q.

my baby is not sleeping properly at night from completion of three months and getting over tired during day times. sometimes she gets startled (keeps her hands as if she is falling ie t shape) and cry for no apparent reason when tired and awake. our dr said it's common to startle. please help

A. she startles and cries when awake with no stimulation at all even when playing during tired days. that's why I'm worried

A. this pattern is seen in almost all children and do not worry about it will improve sleeping is different in different babies and it the growth of the child is proper do not worry much about the sleeping pattern but it will always improve with increasing age of the child and you have to just take care of any environmental factor which might be disturbing the sleep

A. its's quite normal in newborns .That's how they function. It's nothing to worry. After few months they will start to follow a sleep routine. Follow a sleep pattern ensure to put your baby to sleep at the same time every day. Feed a little more during night hours for good sleep. Try to use a jhula or rocker to make your baby slepp. It helps.
