Q.

my baby is not gaining weight how to gain her weight ,she is 5 months and 24 days old and her weight is near 5 kgs ,by birth she has a small hole in her heart and we consult pediatrics cardiologist and he said that no need to worried it's a very small hole and it will be fill by itself within 8 months ,but my baby is not gaiy weight ,I'm giving breastmilk along with formula milk please suggest me what to do???

A. hi babies weight gain depends on their birth weight usually they gain 250 to 500g per month and ideally ,5 months old baby should have weight between 4.5 to 6 kg so don't worry your child weighs normal. just breastfeed your child as per his or her needs. give Massage to your child daily maintain good hygiene
