A. its common children can be picky eaters till 5-6 years. set a positive example for your child, by having all healthy foods. create a conducive environment for building healthy eating habits. offer choice between two vegetables any one of which you may want her to try. yourself eat the vegetable that you want her to try and explain its texture, flavour to the kid and ask whether she would like to give it a try don't be pushy but be gently encouraging remember it's a phase it will pass

A. Vegetables give children energy. Eating vegetables can also protect children against chronic diseases. Children under 8 years should have 2-4½ serves of vegetables each day. Encourage children to eat plenty of vegetables by setting a good example. Persistence and praise help too.
