Q.

my baby is not drinking milk at left breast.she is drinking at right side.if I give milk at left breast she is crying for few minutes then sucking.what shall I do doctor by looking my baby I felt that left side breast milk is empty.

A. Some babies will only nurse on one breast and completely refuse the other one. It's called a breast preference. In most cases, a baby can get enough breast milk from just one breast, so it isn't necessarily an issue. However, sometimes refusing to breastfeed on one side could be a sign of a problem with the breast, so talk to your lactation consultant if needed. If there isn't an underlying health problem, and your baby is growing well, accept that ur baby prefers one side. f
