Rajani SrivastavaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. what u are giving in meal, and is baby is taking breast milk or formula milk.. there might b many factor for this.
See if u have started semisolids ,try to give in fluid form.. which baby easily can digest, add some fibre rich food in diet ,also give light and easy to digest food like daliya, khichdi etc. ,Check if there is something u gave and it not suits to her.
now coming to feeding part, if u are giving breast milk, make sure u avoid junk and spicy, and add fibres and protein rich food in ur diet. and if baby is formula fed, check whether it's too thick ,or baby feel difficulty in digestion. sometime actually formula doesn't suits especially when baby have semisolid too. similar thing happend to my sister's baby . and we changed the formula milk. now she is taking Aptamil Gold formula milk. the prebiotics in it makes it more easy to digest and gradually improve the gut health too. it's all about ghat if digestion is good , there will be no tummy issue.
meanwhile u can apply hing water around the naval, or give few spoon warm ajwain water.

Fruit juice – If your infant is at least four months old, you can give certain fruit juices to treat constipation. This includes prune, apple, or pear juice (other juices are not as helpful). You can give a total of 2 to 3 ounces (60 to 120 mL) of 100 percent fruit juice per day for children four to eight months old.
