Q.

my Baby is Not able to control her head.. should it be a concern?? although she can roll over both ways.. she is preterm..at around 35 weeks I delivered. what should I do?

A. hi my daughter ws also born at 35 weeks at 6 mnths she did not uave 100 percent head control..started sitting around 7n half mnths..she is absolutely fine now 1 n half yrs..infact a bit more intelligent bit talks less..so every child is different..i took my daughter for physiotherapy for 1 mnth on doc consultation at around 7 mnths age but could not continue due to covid..u can ask ur paeds, he can examine the baby n advice accordingly( physio or calcium supplement)..seems like a mild motor delay to me but u need to consult an expert

A. A proper assessment is required here so regarding this it is advisable to contact some nearby doctor and so accordingly the doctor will guide iytn a proper way . A. Hi See normally kidskin held their head properly by the age of six months but since you are mentioning that your child is a pre-term child with meeting one month extra maybe by the age of 7 to 7 1/2 months your child will reach the milestone but as of now it is only three months so you do not have to a get worried about it because normally also kids start to hold their head completely by the age of six months only
