A. Hai good morning !! If you're have enough supply then mostly give breast milk and supplement with formula milk in between. Water, milk, dairy products, rusk, bread toast, papaya, chikoo, poppy seeds, garlic, mutton kheema, garlic milk improves milk supply. Feed every two hours, quantity depends on baby present weight. If baby is around 3-3.5 kg then feed 35-45ml, and quantity depends on digestion capability too.. As baby is 17 days old give 30-35ml per feed if baby still tries to latch or demands feed then feed 10-15 ml and the next two to three hours feed 40-45 ml. If baby sleeps while taking feed of around 30-35 ml then 30-35 ml is enough for a week and increase quantity from the next 5-7 days.
