My baby is just a week old new born, the umlical cord fell off yesterday not sure what to do after that. It seems little reddish. please guide me through

Sunita MahatoMom of 2 children4 years agoA. as the cord falls off some time there may a clot blood you may notice or some time yellow discharge some fluid like.. yes you should maintain hygiene.. clean with espirit.. use boric acid powder.. consult the doctor..
