My baby is in 6th month now, his birth weight is 3.2kg, on completion of 5th month his weight is 5.9kg I am very much worried about his weight.he takes only 5 to 10 mins of breast milk. Otherwise he is active and playful. What to do to increase baby weight??

Neelam ChinnappaMom of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. thank you for reaching out us with your question please know the birth weight should double at 6 months if by chance the birth weight has not reached that stage I would suggest you continue to focus on mother's milk or formula milk is suggested by your pediatrician make sure your feeding a baby from one breast at a time so that he's getting the valuable hindmilk which is full of fats
