My baby is hitting his head often purposefully. what can be the reason?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. this is nothing but temper tantrums in the baby to attract the attention of the parents interact more with the baby. if there is no relief it is advisable to see the doctor for proper examination if there is need for proper investigations also both for diagnosis and treatment

Understandably, repetitive movements like head banging can cause you concern. But in most cases, banging is simply your baby or child's way of soothing themselves before falling asleep. So if your child is otherwise healthy, there's probably nothing further for you to do other than keep them safe and wait it out.
