Q.
My Baby is having stool 3-4 times a day from last 2 weeks. We didn't find any inactiveness in his behavior. Sometimes, stools are sticky and greenish. Any suggestions.

ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician4 years agoA. don't worryGreen colour stool is normal only, If baby is passing urine minimum 6-8 times per day. Don't give so much importance to motion unless blood in motion or bad smelling motion. Consistently green stools in the breastfed baby can indicate an imbalance of foremilk/hindmilk, often resulting in frothy green stools. ... Teething can also bring about green stools due to increased saliva. A lot of green vegetables or something with green food coloring in mom's diet also cause green colour motion in baby. d

Hello,it's not a problem and mostly as babies can't throw out infection , so by the means of poop and vomit they throw out those things which are not good for babies health,like when babies poop there is mucus and color change in motion,and it's not a problem.
