Q.
My baby is having fever around 104 . So had given Justin suppository 12.5 per rectal . After that he sweated a lot . After that for around 16 hrs fever has not come but his skin temperature feels cold . Is there anything to worry about. I can feel his pulse of good volume . He had history for last 3 days

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy1 Year agoA. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having. give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carriedx out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water. higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.

NikithaMom of a 11 yr old boy1 Year agoA. hello the child is doing all fine and it is active then may not be a problem but any discomfort you can check with your doctor again and she will be able to guide you accordingly and absolutely nothing to worry about
