my baby is having cold cough from last 6 days making Ghar ghar sound. I consulted pediatrician, he told that lower respiratory infection. and gave syrup for 4 days. but up to 4 days she feeling normal. but from yesterday she is having more mucus in throat, feel uncomfortable.. what to do to remove mucus from the throat..

they are respiratory secretions which is present in the narrow respiratory tract of the child.
the sound of ghar... ghar.. is present when air passes over these secretions in the narrow respiratory tract. 
if the respiratory rate of the child is within normal limits and the child is not having any other complaints do not worry about the sound which is present due to respiratory secretions.
if you feel that the child is having some difficultyx in breathing you can always give nasal saline drops in the nasal cavity which will wash away the mucus present in the nasal cavity xas well as the respiratory tract.
the problem improve with increasing age of the child when there is broadening of the respiratory tract .

hello looks like there is more of congestion and it would be better to check with your doctor again and see if any further medication is needed for the child which would be better and also safe and absolutely nothing to worry about
